Higger Tor at sunset, Derbyshire, England (1)


These striated gritstone slabs are often referred to as the KitKat stones. This seems to be a recent phenomenon, a name attributed to them by photographers. However, I doubt this is their real or historical name and would contest whether they actually possess a name. In any case, KitKat bars comprise of two or four fingers, not three.
