Lufthansa Airbus A340-300 will probably not return into service after the corona virus crisis of the aviation industry. Four engines simply consume too much fuel compared to modern engines, for example used on A350 or Boeing 787 aircraft. The Aircraft in the picture, D-AIGL, carries the name of the city "Herne".
