SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- San Diego artists Danny Griego and Edee Armand stop to appreciate one of the paintings featured in the Combat Arts exhibit in the Southwestern University art gallery, Sept. 14, 2013. Combat Arts San Diego is a non-profit organization that provides visual arts classes to active and inactive duty veterans who have served in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and was founded on the principal that making art is inherently therapeutic.
