RED SEA (Dec. 01, 2016) Lt. Cmdr. Ryan Dahlman, from Jacksonville, Fla., communicates with bridge while standing the landing safety officer watch aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS San Jacinto (CG 56). Dahlman serves aboard the San Jacinto as the Air Boss and is responsible for all aircraft arriving and departing the ship. San Jacinto, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
