Of all the splendid varieties introduced from Japan this is perhaps the most remarkable for size, form and color. G. Vi', Cliilds. One of the best varieties of last year's intro- ductions ; color deep velvety crimson. Large flat flower with drooping outer petals. El Dorado. Clear golden yellow, very dwarf and compact growth. An early flowering variety and very valuable for cut flowers. Harry May. Deep old gold, with occasional veins of red; petals very broad and thick, spoon-shaped. Miss Ada McVicker. A plant of strong habit, producing im- mense creamy white flowers with broad, thick, reflexed petals. A grand variety, and one of the best for all purposes. Mr. Hicks Arnold.
