Lance Cpl. Aaron D. Cruz, a tactical data systems administrator, and his wife DeAnna M. Cruz, wave at friends atop the lighthouse at Cape Lookout National Seashore. More than 150 Marines and spouses from Cherry Point and Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune spent a day at the Cape Lookout lighthouse area as part of Down East Military Fun Day. Participants spent the day lounging at the beach, fishing off the shore, walking the nature trails surrounding the lighthouse and touring the Cape Lookout Light Station.
