SEA OF JAPAN (Jan. 6, 2020) Electronics Technician 3rd Class Morgan Whitney, from Boston, checks the connections in the ship’s control console before the helm is removed on the bridge of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69). Milius is underway conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
