Colourful Meadow Flowers on a Perthshire Farm
Nostalgia plays a large part in gardening choices, no more so than in our idea of the meadow. The sun always shines on a tranquil scene of glistening grasses bespangled with natural flowers. Natural is a misnomer; all meadows were created by humans, and depend on a cycle of animal grazing and an annual harvest for winter rations.
