From left to right, the grenades are identified as a dummy grenade, an offensive grenade (now obsolete), a defensive grenade, a phosphorus grenade, an offensive grenade, and a grenade. These grenades were fitted with old type release triggers. This photograph is of the Trench Warfare Section in the Ordnance Department and has been censored and released for official use only.
