A helmet for officers of the Oldenburg Infantry Regiment no. 91, Blackened leather skull with rounded front visor, gilt eagle emblem superimposed with heraldic star and coat of arms of the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg, flat chinscales with leather underlay, officer's cockades, a smooth, removable spike on a base plate with pearl ring and star-shaped screws. The visors with red and green underlay, light-coloured silk rep liner, size "54 1/2" handwritten in the skull. Slightly rubbed in places, small indentations.
