A Mangrove Skink (Emoia atrocostata) on a rotting log in an esturine mangrove area to the West of Bangkok, Thailand


The Mangrove Skink can be found on the Ryukyu Islands, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and in Queensland, Australia. However, it is surprising that it has only recently been found in Thailand and is shown here in a park on the western side of the Chao Phraya River estuary in Thailand
