The top selling ram at the 15th annual Alberta Ram Test Station Sale, McRae 1Y, was bred by Russ and Ursela McRae of Didsbury. Buyers from Canada and the United States saw some of the best performance tested ram lambs and yearlings in the nation at the 15th annual Alberta Ram Test Station Sale says Alberta Agriculture's provincial sheep specialist. "A record 326 rams from 51 contributors were entered on test this year at Olds College," says Cathy Gallivan. "Only rams above the station average for average daily gain in their breed are considered for the sale.
