A South German mace, mid-16th century Head with seven flanges, the strongly curved flanges with reinforced quadrangular points. Hollow-forged shaft with chiselled rhombic and spiral decoration. Movable iron lanyard loop. Later pommel with eyelet and removable dagger blade (heavily pitted). Length 63 cm.
