Lt. Shane O'Donnell (background center), Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) fuels officer, leads a hot refueling training event for members of his fuels team February 5, 2021 on the flightline at Naval Station Rota, Spain. Focused on the importance of safety during refueling, the training event prepared O'Donnell's fuels team to perform hot refueling operations for helicopters of the Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 79 at the installation. O'Donnell and his fuels team are assigned to NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella, headquartered at Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy.
