I love electricity pylons; I find their abstract, gaunt shapes endlessly fascinating. Here we see giant pylons in a field by the Thames at Kennington, south of Oxford, at sunrise. But this morning, the scene has has turned into frozen magic; the river has overflowed after weeks of heavy rain. After freezing on a bitter cold night, this is the surreal result. Just beautiful.
