Plant in any good garden soil covering to a depth of about one and one- half to twice the height of the bulb measuring from base to shoulder. Early planting is advisable, how- ever many fine flowers are produced from plantings made after the first of Feb- ruary. Narcissi multiply quite freely and should be taken up during summer or early fall about every 3 or 4 years and replanted. Never remove green foliage from the bulbs.
