Next years team should be even more successful than the 1021 team, forCaptain Kirschner will be the only man lost by graduation. With Captain-elect Bliss, Troup, Reams and Wimmer supported by several new men who havesprung up recently and show promise of developing in the distance runs. Alle-gheny will have a team that should be a credit to the Blue and Cold. One hundred tliirty-thn. ^wtmmtng at Allegany On the whole the first swimming season at Allegheny College has been verysuccessful. With the sport practically unknown here and very few men tochoose from, the team that was turned out went through the season without adefeat, which is more than can be said of any other college team thus is hoped that with the introduction of the sport here it will grow andreceive impetus in the way of new men in the freshmen class and some supportfrom the athletic board in order to make it possible to meet other schools ofthis district. The results of the season are as follows: 1. April 22—Allegheny, 3Sy2; Thiel, 20y2; at Greenville. 2. April 2S—Allegheny, 33; Oil City Y. M. C. A., 25; at Oil City. 3. May 4—Allegheny, 38; Thiel, 21; at points—Allegheny, 109y2; Opponents, 66y2.
