Supporters of the Ovation cable channel rally in front of Brooklyn Borough Hall in New York on Thursday, January 10, 2013 to demand that Time Warner Cable reinstate its carriage of Ovation. TWC dropped the arts oriented channel at the beginning of 2013 upon the termination of its contract. Ovation is one of the casualties of cable networks which are either demanding to pay lower carriage fees from low-rated channels or dropping channels completely.
