In quality it has no equal; the flesh is uniformly deep and of that granulated character that always indicates a good melon; color, dark rich salmon. The oft repeated question, "How can I raise a good Musk Melon?" can now be answered, "Plant the ; It will produce more fine edible melons to a given area than any other variety. Pkt., 1 Oc; oz., 20c. New Buckeye State Tomato. The New Buckeye State Tomato, offered last spring for the first time, averages at least one-half larger than Livingston's Beauty. Many Mammoth sorts have been introduced of late, but on first trial they are rejected on account of their roughness. When therefore, we state that in addition to its very large size, it is also smooth and uniform we are sure we have said enough to enlist the attention of Tomato growers every- where. This is not all, however, for although its large size might lead some to believe the fruits are few in number, yet the fact is, it is even more prolific and abundant in fruitage than the standard sorts now in cultivation. It is unquestionably the heaviest cropper known. The Tomatoes are borne in immense clusters of four to eight fruits, and occasionally ten large fruits have been found on a single cluster. In time of ripening it matures with the Stone. In solidity and meatiness it has no equal, while in luscious quality, none surpass it.
