Photo Must Be Credited ©Alpha Press 050000 (1940's) A British workman who makes indestructo bullet proof glass to protect the pilot and crew of Flying Fortresses was elected by ballot by his workmates to be a guest of the US Army Air Force to visit one of their bomber stations and see how his glass fitted and is used. He is Jim Robson and was formerly a Durham Miner. First a bomber crew visited the works to see the glass made and then accompanied by Robson to their station.
