The Botanical Garden of Porto is located in the gardens of Quinta do Campo Alegre, in the city of Porto, Portugal. From 1949, the Portuguese state took possession of this farm, converting it into the Botanical Garden. The Botanical Garden currently includes: A historic garden made up of three distinct parts (Roseiral, Jardim dos Jotas and Jardim do Peixe), separated by Camélias. Two lakes, one of which with water lilies. Greenhouses, including one of cacti and one of tropical plants. A garden of cacti and other succulent plants. Spaces of centuries-old trees and varied rare and / or exotic plant species.
