More wall space in the kitchen could have been obtained by omitting the doorleading to the rear porch, as a grade entrance to cellar and kitchen is otherwiseprovided. If the rear stairs to the basement were placed differently, bedroom No. 1could then get its daylight through the rear wall and a small window on the sidewould give the necessary cro
