The success of the past years work is due not only to the presidentswork, but also to that of other officers and the various committees, and tothe helpful cooperation of all members. THETA CHI Theta Chi, the youngest literary society in University High, is up to thehighest standard. A great interest has been shown in the society and theprograms. The society has gained headway by the helpful suggestions ofMiss Barton, our critic. The roast which was held during the fall term at Kings Mill, proved tobe one of the best social events of the year. About twenty-five membersgathered about the fire, while their hearts were filled with joy and an enjoyable evening the party adjourned for a short tour through thecountry, before returning home. The next social event was held at Dorothy Welchs during the winterterm. At this time a new pin was selected. Some of the members showedtheir skill by playing cards; others by dancing and eating pop corn were taken. George Davis was president during the fall term. He gave many goodsuggestions and had good control of the society. The winter term found Bernice Brown in the presidents chair. S
