Height, 30 186—Tall Heavy Cylixdrical Bronze Bell (Chou) Expanding in tlie upward direction in bulbous form, with flat-tened top encircled by a flange or lip, and carrying a loop forsuspension. Sonorous tone. Ornamented with heavy scrollbands, incised and in bold relief, and wholly covered with patinaand thick incrustations of an unusual matt, turquoise-greenaspect, besprinkled with indigo-blue. Height, 20 inches. 18T—Large Broxze Bell (Chou) Bi-convex form, with flat top and tubular neck or handle, andtwenty-four stepped-conical protuberances on each face belowthe shoulder. Pale gray-green and olive-yellow thick patina.
