A Tumbler Garden may be constructed as follows: Fill a common tumbler ofgoblet with water, cut out a round of cotton batting, or of soft thick flannel ofjust the size to cover the surface, and lay it gently upon the water, upon thisscatter the seed and grass, or flax or mustard, or all mixed, and gently set thetumbler away in a dark place.
