JOHN SINNOTT, the eldest surviving son of John and EHzabeth(Min-phy) Sinnott, was born at Monogarra, and baptized 20 June, still a mere youth he accompanied his parents to Dublin, where hereceived a good education, which secured him in early manhood a positionin the custom-house in that city, and enabled him later to enter the revenueservice of the United Kingdom.
