The Council shall find a room for the annual meetings,and arrange for a camp-fire on that occasion, and be empowered toraise funds to defray the expenses of the annual reunion. Anymoneys remaining in their hands, after the payment of all bills, shallbe turned over to their successors. Sec. 5. The nomination and election for officers shall take placeon the regular stated meeting night of November of each year. ARTICLE IV. Section i. The President shall preside at all the meetings, pre-serve order and discipline, have control of the Association on allparades, and appoint WM. D SLOAN,Sergeant Co. L PENNSYLVANIA VOLUNTEER INFANTRY. 175 Sec. 2. The Vice-Presidents shall perform the duties of the Presi-dent in his absence. Sec. 3. The Recording Secretary shall keep a correct roll of themembership, keep accurate records of the proceedings of all meetings,and have charge of the By-laws. Sec. 4. The Corresponding Secretary shall attend to all corres-pondence and notify the members of the meetings, when requested todo so by the Association. Sec. 5. The Financial Secretary shall keep a just and impartialaccount of all moneys received by him, pay the same over to theTreasurer, taking his receipt for the same. He shall also make a listof all the delinquents and report the same one month prior to theannual meeting in November, andhe shall have charge of the seal ofthe Association. Sec. 6. The Treasurer shallkeep an accurate account of a
