In the Florist, page 297, March 15, 1SS7, I referred to it as Phytoniyza affinis, but Dr. Lintner, our state entomologist, who has thor- oughly investigated the subject from specimens contributed from here (see his Fourth Report, 1SS8, page 73). has de- cided that it is P/iv/omr:a /a/era/is (Fallen).
