A family King's Brioche, served around Epiphany (France).

A Family King's Brioche, served around Epiphany - especially in Provence (France) - when the Three Wise Men visited Jesus. This traditional cake is a butter enriched yeast dough, which is presented ring-shaped and topped with candied fruit. A charm is also hidden inside so that the person who happens to get it in his piece, becomes "king" or "queen" for the day and wins a paper crown which is immediately put on his (her) head.
