An autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) built by students from Cornell University prepares to navigate through an obstacle course at the Transducer Evaluation Center's Anechoic Pool during RoboSub 2013. RoboSub 2013 is an annual event co-sponsored by the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International Foundation and the Office of Naval Research to advance the development of AUVs by challenging a new generation of engineers to perform realistic missions in an underwater environment.
