"Haverfordwest Castle" ruins Pembrokeshire Wales

View of "Haverford West Castle" against a [blue sky] with [purple flowers] in foreground . The Castle was built by the Flemings after "1078" when with orders from [Henry I] [Henry 1st] . The Welsh attacked it in "1215" during the time of "Llewelyn the Great" . Later in "1405" it survived again when attacked by the French and later when an order to destroy the Castle by Cromwell was not carried out although on the two previous occasions the town outside was burned . It was not only an [administrative centre] and [site of protection] but also the site of the [town goal] [town jail] which is now used to house the "Public Records" Office for Pembrokeshire
