The men are waiting for the mess call and enter the barge through a hole in the side to receive their food. The photograph was taken in St. Mammes, Seine et Marne, France by Corporal Lubatty on March 10, 1919. The 125th Company, Inland Water Transportation, was formerly known as the 57th Engineers.
