Alexia "Mad Dog" Thompson, a chemical specialist with the 155 Chemical Battalion and native of Stoutsville, Ohio, attaches a Light Weapon Thermal Sight to an M240B machine gun June 24 at the Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center in Grayling, Mich. In addition to qualifying with weapons, chemical specialists must also qualify in their military occupational specialty to be a well-rounded Ohio National Guard Soldier.
