Garrett Smith, a tactical air control party specialist with the 146th Air Support Operations Squadron (146th ASOS), holds a defensive position while riding in the back of a pickup truck moving toward the team’s training objective at Razorback Range near Fort Smith, Ark., April 8, 2021, during an Ability to Survive and Operate (ATSO) exercise. The 146th ASOS moved between the infiltration location to the objective using a convoy, which enabled 360-degree armed defensive support for the entire team.
