Occurrence.—This species occurs only along the Melajo River on the south slope of the Northern Range of northeastern Trinidad. It has been found at the fol- lowing NMB localities: 18571, 1X574, 18922. 18923 and 18925. All these localities are part of the Melajo Clay Member of the .Springvale Formation (Early Pli- ocene. Glohorokiliti inari>ciritcie Zone). Distribution.—So far L. disclusa is not known from outside Trinidad.
