Dozens of people turned up at the South African embassy in London's Trafalgar Square for an impromptu vigil following the news of his death in South Africa. Reflecting the great man's legacy of reconciliation and unity, the crowd was made up of people of all races, some silently standing, others hugging and three women singing beautiful harmonies of uplifting South African songs such as Shosholoza and Nkosi Sikelele iAfrica. The mood was not entirely sombre, reflecting people's relief that at last their Hero was no longer suffering.
