Blue Passion Flower - Passiflora caerulea Blue Crown Passion Flower

A wild blue passion flower grows in the herb garden immediately in front of my house in the mountains of Malaga Province in Southern Spain. A real nuisance because of its vitality, it is always invading the herb garden and strangling the rst of the plants but I cannot bring myself to remove it totally because of the abundance of beautiful intricate flowers it produces each year. Occasionally it will also produce an edible if rather bland orange fruit. I am resigned to just pruning it harshly each year and repeatedly photographing the flowers.
