New Pink Plume—A strong, healthy, compact grower with no tendency to rust; very solid, crisp, extra early, and a long Keeper, remaining, when trench- ed, in perfect condition away into the spring. I^kt., 2c; oz., 15c. Giant Pascal—This splendid variety is a sport from the well known "Golden self-blanching," carefully selected. It partakes of the fine nutty flavor of that variety without being stringy. The stalks are thick, srJidand crisp, golden- yellow heart. Pkt., 2c; oz., 10c. White Plume—A valuable early and ex- ceedingly ornamental variety, requires verj^ little labor in blanching, one of the best for early , 2c; oz., 15c. Perfection Hartwell—It is of medium height, the stalks being long and thick, while its compact structure makes it easily worked. Blanches well up in the leaves and its crisp tenderness, distinct and delicious flavor are unequaled. Pkt., 2c; oz., Corn Salad. A favorite salad plant in Europe. Sown in August, and protected with a few leaves during the winter. It can be gathered very early in spring. Sown in April, it is soon tit for use.
