Johan Skytt is a slab of rock protruding from the mountain above Alnes, Godøya, Sunnmøre, Norway

Johan Skytt is found above Alnes at Godøya northwest of Ålesund, Sunnmøre. Nobody seems to know why the rock is named Johan Skytt. There is a theory, however, that it is renamed in honour of the famous bear hunter, Johan Alnæs(1866 – 1933) living in Romsdal, of whom the local population is said to have been very proud.
