Timbered Building, Salop Street, Wolverhampton, 4840. A timbered building occupied by a shop on the corner of Salop Street (known then as Barn Street), and Peel Street. Often referred to as the 'Old House', this building dated from the 17th century with the adjoining houses built in the early 19th century. The photograph in April, 1913, when 'At the Mercy of the Mormons' was showing at the Theatre Royal.
