Women protested outside the Bank of England demanding that new governor Mark Carney takes steps to include images of famous and admired women from history after a decision was made to replace pictures of women with that of Winston Churchill. The protesters had gathered together over 30,000 signature on a petition whgich was handed over to a bank official.
