BREIDAMERKURJOKULL, ICELAND: ICE COOL kayakers have paddled four-hundred feet inside a THREE THOUSAND foot thick ice cave on a quest to find a previously undiscovered entrance. Pictures and video show the brave kayakers’ journey on the glacial river through the Crystal Ice cave, located fifty miles from the nearest town of Hofn, where river levels have reached thirteen feet. Mountain guide Einar Runar Sigurdsson (47) from Iceland described how he came up with the idea of kayaking on the glacier, at the Crystal Cave in Breidamerkurjokull, on the south side of Vatnajokull glacier, Iceland.
