It is a matter of regret that the virtues ofdistilled water are not more widely living in country districts are content,through want of knowledge of the superiormerits of distilled water, to drink water teem-ing with impurities and laden with mineralmatter of an objectionable kind. Well water is frequently not only impure,but of an exceedingly hard nature, and whenthis i& the case, it is exceedingly injurious,especially for persons in whom there is anytendency to dyspepsia, rheumatism, gout,kidney trouble, or liver complaints.
