PACIFIC OCEAN (June 21, 2022) Fire Controlman Seaman Nathan Juarez, from Monrovia, Calif., fires an M9 service pistol at a target during a practical weapons course training evolution on the flight deck aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Gridley (DDG 101). Abraham Lincoln Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability through alliances and partnerships while serving as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
