BLACK SEA (Oct. 11, 2014) – Sailors aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67) fire a 21-gun salute during a memorial ceremony to honor victims of the Oct. 12, 2000 terrorist attack. Cole, homeported in Norfolk, Va., is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
