Win-dows along the sides are provided with curtains whichhave large isinglass panels. This construction affordsan effective protection from the weather and at the. NEW BUS IN CENTRAL, PARK same time permits of an uninterrupted view outside andadmits light to the interior. Glass windows are pro-vided in front and rear. The bus as reconstructedweighs 11,000 lb., being but 360 lb. heavier than thestandard buses without the top roof. The passengercapacity is fifty-one persons, twenty-two below andtwenty-nine on top. This is an increase of sevenpassengers over the green buses used by the inclosed top gives the bus an additional height ofbarely 1 ft. over the regulation coaches as the chassis
