The Abandoned Soldier Memorial has been created by James Napier to honour those who have fought valiantly for our sculpture was modeled on Lance Corporal Daniel Twiddy who sustained serious facial and other injuries by friendly fire in Basra in memorial was erected for three years in Trafalgar Square but is now at a temporary home at the National Memorial
