Trolleybus, Wolverhampton Road, Wednesfield, 8675. Wolverhampton Corporation Transport's first trolleybus () - a Tilling-Stevens TS6 - on the Wolverhampton Road, Wednesfield part of the first inaugurated route, prior to the official opening of the converted tramway on October 29, 1923. It was only able to carry single decker buses because of the difficulties posed by the railway bridge at the lower end of Broad Street, Wolverhampton. Note the connection rods on the roof making contact with the overhead lines (top of photograph). The Wolverhampton coat of arms can be seen on the front of the trolleybus.
