Itsflowers are enormous, fully afoot in length: color, clearcoal-black, so intense that itreally shows a brilliancy, andas may well be imagined, itis a flower of most strikingoddity and beauty. The bulbsare large, and should be pot-ted in the fall, and whengrowth commences set in awindow.
