THE FARM. Californias Triumphal Arch. A triumphal arch, constructed of theminerals of California, will constitute theentrance to this States exhibit in theMines and Metallurgy Palace at theWorlds Fair. The height of the arch will be 23 feetand its width will be 17}i feet. All visit-ors to the California mining exhibit willpass beneath this arch. It will be madeup of building stones selected from everycounty in the State. The base will be ofgranite. The next course will be of sandstone. Then will come tufa, marble andterra cotta. The ornaments will be bearsheads and the State seal. The arch willbe graceful and will contains specimensof all the best building materials in theState. The arch will be a standing invitationto the visitor to view the wooderful col-lection of minerals which it guards. Be-hind the arch will be a vaBt collection ofcabinet specimens. A column of lepido-lite 16 feet high will be one of the attrac-tive features. ThiB is a beautiful mineraland from it
